Grand opening Faerch.
April 18 it was finally time for the Grand Opening of Faerch's new trayline, at their factory Cirrec in Duiven. Cirrec which is part of Faerch, makes PET plastic circular. In Duiven they recycle the incoming plastic which then leaves in the form of pellets to another Faerch factory where it gets a new plastic life, and so on until infinity. We were allowed to open the new trayline for this beautiful company. From event concept to technical production, from catering to video content, all our services came into play.
In November of 2023, we took our first steps into the Faerch plant. Since then, the first alignments of the job have been enlarged and improved until the spectacular Grand Opening on April 18. The event began with a delicious lunch served in Faerch's recycled products, a special personal touch to immediately get into the spirit of the company. Chairwoman Martine Hauwert brought energy to the tent and the event began with several speakers from Faerch. Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever, also spoke about the future of circular recycling. Then the moment was there; the Grand Opening. With the push of a button, the new trayline was unveiled. All guests were invited to take a tour through the factory, where employees were on hand to answer all questions from the guests.
After all the guests had left the building it was time for the second part of the event, the Family & Friends event! Especially for all the friends and family of Cirrec employees, we had provided food, entertainment and music to make a real party. They were also invited to take a tour of the factory and admire their family's special workshop. It was a real party when finally 1 of the employees was also put in the spotlight and shared his singing talent with everyone.
It was a tremendously special project to work on and to contribute a piece to the future of circular recycling.
